Halloween in Watersmeet
Posted on October 31, 2008Here are a few pictures from our visit with Grandma Donna and Grandpa Ken at their house in Watersmeet, Michigan. It was Halloween weekend during our visit so the grandparents put together a spooky scavenger hunt in the woods. While wearing their costumes, the kids followed clue after clue the get their treats.
We also spent some time carving pumpkins. The kids sketched out the faces they wanted and Dad carved away.
Later that night, deer came to eat the pumpkin scraps!
The next day we spent time playing with grandpa Ken’s trains, hiking through the woods and getting rides on the four-wheeler.
Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for a fun Halloween in the woods. See more…

Posted on September 3, 2008Our Week at the Cottage
Posted on July 6, 2008Our Week at the Cottage:
After the hustle and bustle of our trip to Florida, we spent a week unwinding at the cottage at Pelican Lake.
During our trip, we were visited by grandparents Donna and Ken and grandparents Tom and Barb.
At the cottage we played by the lake, had fun with water pistols, saw deer and eagles, went on a bike ride on a trail in Three Lakes and went kayaking.
